About Us:

American Collection Systems, Inc. has been a leader in third-party collections for over 44 years. We are looking to expand our company and Higher Education Division with the support of dedicated collections representatives. ACS offers a commission structure to supplement hourly pay and also offers bonus pay to top performers. Schedules after the training period can be flexible as long as employees maintain their (40) hour work-week schedule requirements. Employees have the ability to work first shift (8am-4pm), second shift (12pm-8pm), split shifts (8am-12pm, 4pm-8pm), and any schedule in between normal business hours, as long as it’s approved by management.

Job Description:

Higher Education Collectors are responsible for contacting student debtors on behalf of our colleges and universities. They must possess customer service and negotiation abilities in order to work with debtors on discussing account payment arrangements. A Higher Education Collector is responsible for sending letters, calling debtors, and negotiating arrangements on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

Must be a U.S. citizen or have a valid work visa
Must have a high school degree or equivalent
(3) years experience in third-party collections (optional)
(2) years experience in higher education collections (optional)
